I really enjoyed this meal (Shore Breakfast). The service was great as well. Thank you to Christian for making sure we had everything we needed. I know where to come for breakfast my next visit.

We recently visited Breakfast Guru Restaurant & Bar in Rehoboth Beach for breakfast.
We were particularly looking forward to the hollandaise sauce, which was specifically recommended by our waitstaff as one of their best items. However, we found it to be very translucent and lacking the typical creamy, opaque texture expected of hollandaise. This appearance often occurs when there isn't enough egg yolk to properly emulsify the amount of butter used, or if too much liquid was incorporated, resulting in a thin rather than rich sauce.
The scrapple portion served was notably small. The chocolate chip pancakes contained an excessive amount of chocolate, making them more akin to a solid chocolate item than a pancake with chips. Additionally, the side of potatoes were bland and served cold.
Based on our experience, it's clear the breakfast isn't quite at a "guru" level.

Was looking for crepes on a recent trip to Rehoboth and found this restaurant located a block from the boardwalk. I selected crepes with fruit compote and absolutely loved how they were prepared. It was a set of 3 crepes with just the right amount of cream cheese and fruit compote which wasn't overly sweet, just the way I like it. What I noticed and appreciated the most about the place was that it was very clean. The waitstaff were very attentive and courteous and meticulously cleaned the place each time patrons left. I made it known to the staff ( and Ani, the owner who came out to see us) how much I appreciated the cleanliness of the place. This will be our breakfast go-to every time we're in Rehoboth.
